About PodHelper
I built PodHelper because I needed background audio that actually matched what I was working on.
The Problem
As a developer, I spend most of my day reading docs, writing code, and researching topics. My brain craves a background signal — something to keep the mental engine humming without pulling focus.
Music gets repetitive. Traditional podcasts take too long to find and rarely match what I'm currently interested in. I wanted audio content that was instantly relevant — generated from the article I was reading or the topic I was exploring — without any search or curation effort.
The Solution
PodHelper turns any URL, text, or topic into listenable audio in minutes. Paste a link, get a podcast. No hunting for episodes, no skipping intros, no wondering if the content is worth your time.
It's designed for people who are busy doing things — coding, reading, commuting, cooking — and want their ears occupied with something meaningful rather than silence or random noise.
Who's Behind This
PodHelper is built by an indie developer who believes the best tools come from scratching your own itch. I use it every day while working, and I build it to be the tool I wish existed years ago.
